Aerotek Quality Inspector in CANONSBURG, Pennsylvania

Description

Main Job Duties: • Inspection of all incoming material to determine conformance with applicable drawings, specifications, and/or instructions • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) on new part submissions • Records inspection results into defined repository • Assist in resolving any conformance related materials issue • Documentation and processing of nonconforming materials • Creates and or updates test plans as required • Identifies the need for increased or reduced sampling based on historical inspection data. • Proactively seeks out opportunities to improve the incoming inspection process • Material movement of inspected items • Performs all duties in a timely manner, must be a team player, self-motivated, and attention to detail • Adhere to all company policies, guidelines and practices including the SECRIT values • Assists in the Quality team in investigating, containing, and controlling material that is nonconforming • Other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: • Ability to run reports, effectively present information and respond to questions • Ability to use Syteline, MQ1 and other systems • Ability to learn Microsoft office • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing Concepts preferred • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and BOMs • Excellent verbal and written skills required • Ability to work independently

The pay range for this position is $40560.00 - $40560.00/yr.
