Overview

NovaCare/Select Medical is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Cash Applications Representative for an immediate opening. This is a temporary position with a duration of at least 3 months, with the potential to become a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

This entry-level opportunity is responsible for the timely and accurate postings of all cash receipts and patient account adjustments. Accurately and promptly post cash receipts. Make necessary adjustments to patient accounts. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial transactions. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments as needed. Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

This ideal candidate will be detail oriented with excellent organization and data entry skills.  Previous Accounts Receivable experience is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in accounting or finance is a plus. Previous experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or a related field is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and accounting software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
