An exciting opportunity exists for a calibration technician within our Aerospace Support and Test Equipment (ASTE) laboratory team at Cannon Hill, QLD.

Our Calibration Technicians are highly regarded and providing meaningful support to the ADF and its many platforms that truly contribute to the defence of our nation. We look for technicians with a strong understanding of metrological principles and a wide array of demonstratable experience with different measurement fields.

The role:

• Perform calibrations on a variety of customer equipment in the fields of Pressure, Force, Torque, Flow, Optical, Temperature, and Electrical (DCLF).

• Prepare certificates and reports with consistent attention to detail.

• Provide feedback to the laboratory manager on anomalies discovered whilst using reference equipment.

• Prepare and perform calibration in place activities at customer sites.

The person:
