The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for developing your team, focussing on engagement and ongoing in field coaching, delivering sustainable sales growth and profitability. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and upbeat. With continuous Improvement being a huge part of our culture, we embrace this culture of continuous learning where our leaders are empowered to focus on building outstanding teams.

Working as part of a close-knit team, you are team orientated while remaining versatile, open minded and able to work autonomously when needed. You will need previous experience on people management, coaching, leading change, developing and executing sales strategies.

You will be located anywhere on the region which covers the Central Belt across and down to the South of the UK and working remotely from home.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • In field working with the team (on average 3 Days per week with overnight stays to maximise time in field)

  • Lead and develop your team, coach and grow their competencies and behaviours to help meet their career aspirations.

  • Support and coach the Area Sales Managers with day-to-day sales and commercial activity, evaluating and leading individual performance to achieving personal and company targets

  • Define regional sales strategy and preparing progress, funnel and forecast reports

  • Report on regional sales in line with business requirements and provide forecasts on anticipated activity

  • Remain abreast of innovative and creative sales practices to maximise sales

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Willingness to travel up to 3-4 days per week (nights away from home a month)

  • Excellent people leadership skills and an inclusive leadership style, who coaches, mentors and fosters engagement

  • Proven success in driving sales growth and excellent management of customer relations

  • Skilled in identifying systemic business issues and problem solving

  • Ability to successfully deliver results while quickly adapting to changing priorities, unforeseen challenges whilst balancing risk

  • Able to develop and drive accountability within the team around Daily Management and monthly Key Performance Indicators

  • Knowledge of a CRM (preferably SFDC would be advantageous)
