Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
Ships and receives materials for Set-up and SMT Pick and Place Machines by performing various duties. This position involves domestic and international shipping, receiving materials, organizing material racks, and working with production teams to develop high-quality printed circuit processing methods.
Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming materials and match them to purchase orders and/or job orders.
Organize material racks and accurately locate components.
Identify components, knowledge of moisture-sensitive devices, and use reel counters in part audits.
Audit, stock, and kit SMT components for production builds in a warehouse setting.
Work with production teams to develop the best methods and highest quality printed circuit processing methods.
Set up kits according to documented specifications.
Practice and participate in continuous improvement and lean activities.
Drive products to certain locations as needed.
Essential Skills
Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
Experience with domestic and international shipping, including documentation requirements.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift.
Experience handling electronic assemblies.
Experience receiving materials.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
GED or High School Diploma.
1 year of prior material handling experience.
Clean DMV record for the last 3 years.
Knowledge of electronics.
