Job Title:Outpatient Clinic Director
Location:Finger Lakes Region, NY
Employment Type:Full-Time
Job Summary
The Director of Supportive Living is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and success of FLACRA’s Supportive Living scattered sites. This leadership role ensures compliance with agency policies, regulations, and strategic goals while fostering an environment of collaboration, professionalism, and client-centered care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Health/Human Services.
Minimum of three years of professional experience in a related field.
Valid NYS Driver’s License.
Must have prior management experience.
Must be a Qualified Health Professional (QHP).
Skills and Competencies:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in computer applications, including the ability to generate reports and manage electronic records (EHR).
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with culturally diverse individuals, staff, and community service providers.
Outstanding time management, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to teamwork.
Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Supervision
Facilitate motivational team-building activities and lead group supervision sessions.
Provide regular direct supervision to staff through audits, observations, and coaching.
Conduct staff evaluations as outlined by agency policies.
Recruit, screen, and interview prospective staff.
Identify staff training needs and assist with their professional development.
Train all new direct reports to ensure effective onboarding and program success.
Operational Management
Lead and participate in general, staff, in-service, and supervisory meetings.
Maintain required reporting, records, and statistics to ensure compliance.
Monitor and ensure agency and program compliance with OASAS regulations and strategic business goals.
Respond appropriately to crisis/emergency situations to secure the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with community groups, referral sources, and service agencies.
Program Development
Identify and implement innovative service delivery methods to enhance program outcomes.
Ensure the fidelity of integrated services and support the achievement of strategic goals.
Represent the program in community presentations and training initiatives.
Client Care and Documentation
Support the well-being of clients by providing high-quality, respectful, and professional care.
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with agency and OASAS regulations, policies, and procedures.
Maintain proficiency with electronic records and utilize data-driven insights to support program operations.
Additional Duties:
Participate in the agency’s On-Call Rotation.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by leadership.
