What will you do?
Provides safe transportation for patients, specimens, and equipment and other related tasks assigned.
Coordinates these services within the Hospital to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of our customers.
Actively support the mission, goals, and objectives of the Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Verifies all information needed to safely transport patient ·Explains transport procedure to the patient prior to moving ·Assures patient comfort during transport
Assures that patient privacy is respected at all times
Monitors patient’s condition during transport
Demonstrates ability to handle confidential information with discretion following system confidentiality guidelines
Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent
C.N.A certification preferred.
Basic CPR training required or to be completed within three months of hire
One year of previous health care experience preferred
Demonstrates the CARES Values and Standards of Cooperation at all times.
Requires weekend & evening flexibility.
Pay Range: $17.25 - $20.00
Starting Pay: Based on Experience
