Thompson Health Administrative Assistant , Hospital Medicine in Canandaigua, New York

Description

Full time, days.

Main Function:

  • Performs assistant duties for the Administrative Director and Medical Director to Department of Hospital Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology and General Surgery.

  • Assures that the daily operations of the departments run smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required

  • A.A.S. Degree in secretarial science or office management, or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Computer literate in Windows based programs with proficiency in word processing, graphics applications, spreadsheets and database management.

  • Previous experience with Microsoft products is required.

  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.

  • One to three years of previous secretarial experience in a hospital or medical facility preferred.

Pay Range: $18.50 - $25.00

Starting Pay: Based on Experience
