ManTech Network Administration Engineer in Camp Springs, Maryland
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Administration Engineer in South Burlington, VT; Camp Springs, MD; or in a location to be determined upon offer acceptance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support network automation processes and procedures for automating configuration, management, testing, deployment, and operational support for virtual and physical devices on the network.
Automate manual tasks and functions through scripted solutions to increase stability and decrease time to delivery.
Establishes and maintains network performance.
Builds net configurations and connections.
Troubleshoots network problems.
IP address auditing.
Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration and directing system installation.
Defines, documents, and enforces system standards.
Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades.
Apply all security checks for scanning, enforce microservices container images against Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) and NIST requirements, and deploy to cloud, hybrid, and on-premises via Ansible Playbooks.
Apply CI/CD strategies to plan, code, build, test, release, deploy, operate, and monitor our network solutions.
Troubleshooting Network security incidents
Install, configure and support network and firewall infrastructure within the enterprise
Develop requirements for firewall rule implementation including source and destination IPs, Ports, Transport Protocol
Works with an experienced team of network engineers in performing vulnerability and fault analysis on enterprise perimeter devices, and developing and implementing system remediation and recovery plans
Reduce cycle times and remove manual tasks through automation scripts and machine learning.

Utilize USCIS ticket and incident management system for automated delivery.
Streamline internal solution processes and remove repetitive tasks by automating and orchestrating techniques to reduce resource constraints and remove human error.
Use Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence to document and managed work efforts
Use MS Teams in a majority of daily collaboration to work with disparate team members
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of recent relevant experience.
Strong communications skills both verbal and written
Strong skills in MS Office Suite especially Word, Excel, Visio in the management and documentation of network design and administration.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills required.
Must have strong critical thinking, superior technical aptitude, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills
Experience with major cloud providers preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, collaborative environment.
Proficiency in the following tools, or tools similar:Cisco Catalyst, Nexus and Meraki engineering / architectureVMWare NSXCloud infrastructure engineering: AWS, Azure, GoogleVirtualization experience with VMware and HyperVMS Office strong proficiency: Word, Excel, VisioSplunkSolarwindsWireSharkAlgoSecScripting/Programming languages (ie. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field preferred.
CCNP, CCNA, PCNSA, PCNSE
Familiar with tools including: ServiceNow, GitHub, Jira
Experience administering Palo Alto firewalls
Experience supporting Government contracts
Clearance Requirements:
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain Public Trust and complete DHS Security Clearance
Ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability with current EOD highly preferred
Physical Requirements:
Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office.
Ability to travel to support network troubleshooting or installs (rare)
