Responsibilities You will evaluate, monitor, or ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures. You will integrate information systems subsystems. You will identify standards or requirements for infrastructure configuration or change management. You will review, analyze, and resolve difficult and complex system problems. You will evaluate alternative approaches for satisfying network requirements to define, coordinate, plan, and satisfy user requirements for information technology equipment, system or services. You will organize work, setting priorities, and determining resource requirements; determining short-long-term goals and strategies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector including the following: Planning, managing and evaluating information systems, reviewing, analyzing, and resolving difficult and complex system problems; and identifying customers information systems requirements. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related Applicants can also qualify for this position through a combination of education and experience which when combined, equal one year of specialized experience. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
