U.S. Marine Corps FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will be responsible for the performance of functions such as: formulation of budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. You will present and defend budget estimates before authorities, review and evaluate budget requests, control, and report obligations and expenditures. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will perform a variety of other fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing financial systems to provide technical support for budget administration (e.g., formulation of budget and cost estimates), analyzing program data and recommending alternative methods of financial management, and providing guidance on the acquisition and use of funds to support programs for an organization. Special Requirements: This is a Financial Management Level 1 Certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. This certification level must be achieved within prescribed timelines. Several vacancies may be filled.
