SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible to provide support in the design and creation of instructional materials to support Clinical Nurse Educators, web-based instruction, self-directed learning, webhosted programming and development initiatives. The Instructional Designer interacts with subject matter experts and other organizational partners to identify and select appropriate learning objectives, curricular design, delivery methodologies and educational technologies. The Instructional Designer ensures that the curriculum development team is current in instructional design technologies, theories, and practical applications impacting the instructional design profession and organizational initiatives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, Adult Education or related discipline required.
Three (3) year's experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Strong proficiency with graphic design and multi-media tools: Articulate, Captivate, Flash, Lectora, Photoshop and/or other eLearning development tools preferred.
