Acara Solutions Maintenance Supervisor in Camden, New Jersey


Description
Acara is looking for a looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for our Camden, New Jersey facility.
In your role as a Maintenance Supervisor of Transportation, you will:
  • Coordinate and Supervise work of Vehicle Technicians that inspect and repair railroad track structure for compliance with railroad policy and federal/state regulations
  • Coordinate and Supervise work of Vehicle Technicians. Prepare work schedules, assign work and oversee work product.
  • Recommends, develops and implements improvements to productivity, quality and efficiency within vehicle maintenance department.
  • Responsible to manage budget through controlling labor and material expenditures.
  • Promote safety rules and safe work habits among team 15%Performs miscellaneous tasks as directed
  • You'll specifically take care of supervising a group of Maintenance Technicians during either our second shift (2 PM-10:30 PM) or third shift (10PM-6:30 AM), days of the week to be determined

Pay Rate: 80k - 90k
Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in related field.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • License/Certificate as Diesel Mechanic is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Field is preferred
