Cordis International Marketing Manager – SELUTION SLR Drug-Eluting Balloon in Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom

Overview

The Marketing Manager SELUTION SLR is an important position within the International Marketing Team at Cordis. This individual will develop & execute the International marketing strategy for our SELUTION SLR DEB portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Development and execution of the SELUTION SLR Drug-Eluting Balloon product strategy

  • Develops and manages marketing plan for all DEBs in the region in alignment with Global Marketing and International commercial groups to grow the business and meet/exceed Business Plan forecasts.

  • Become a product expert on the product lines and work closely with our local commercial marketing partners across the region to drive revenue growth and market share gains.

  • Ensures product knowledge is effectively transferred to commercial regional groups and field organizations in collaboration with the training department.

  • Designs and executes new product launch plans, including positioning, marketing mix & promotional aspects for new products in collaboration with local commercial marketing teams and internal training department to ensure field proficiency during product launches.

  • Ensures succesful launch plan execution by closely monitoring timelines and metrics for success.

  • Represents the marketing function on cross-functional new product and new project core teams.

  • Work closely with Global Marketing to develop next generation products and procedural techniques / workflows to ensure Cordis maximizes the opportunity in the market.

  • Develop financial models supporting New Product/Business Development Opportunities in the region, taking into consideration regional variations & various stages of market maturity.

  • Participate in strategic projects and presentations to senior leadership / C-suite

  • Collaborate with Market Research Group for all competitive intelligence and competitive information related to the product portfolio.

  • Manage own budget

  • Ensures business continuity through demand planning and forecasting activities with supply chain and regional commercial partners.

  • Interfaces with multiple functions including Clinical & Regulatory, Education & Training and Supply Chain among others to ensure alignment and launch excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or finance/Business preferred

  • Previous experience in management consulting or MBA strongly preferred

  • A minimum of five years of business experience.

  • Medical device industry experience preferred but not mandatory

  • Proven track record of strategy development strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Proficient in Excel and powerpoint

  • Ability to work in a fast paced work environment.

  • Strategic-minded with superior collaboration skills.

  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to travel 30% domestic and/or international, including weekend travel.

  • Ability to speak english at a very high level and ideally two more EMEA languages.
