    Job Description

RECRUITING REPRESENTATIVE, Human Resources (HR)-Talent Acquisition, to perform a variety of job posting, applicant tracking system (ATS) administration, resume screening and interviewing, recruitment advertising, and other duties in support of the talent acquisition function. Will review, edit, and post position descriptions, ensuring U.S. Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP)/Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance and conformity with the HR job catalog and/or MIT policies/procedures; support recruiters by screening and interviewing applicants for administrative and/or financial assistant positions; consult with MIT departments, labs, centers, and institutes (DLCIs) on recruitment advertising for staff and faculty positions; serve as an administrator for the ATS, i.e., troubleshooting, day-to-day maintenance, reporting, etc.; provide instruction/training on ATS use; advise hiring managers regarding MIT and/or HR processes, procedures, and policies along with those related to job postings and the OFCCP; serve as ATS-help Request Tracker backup and/or second-tier responder as needed; and perform other duties as requested. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: high school diploma or its equivalent; five years’ relevant experience; writing, editing, proofreading, interpersonal, relationship-building, communication, and customer service skills; tact and discretion with confidential information/issues; proficiency with Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems (currently PeopleFluent), and web navigation/research; comfort with and ability to adapt to change; attention to detail; and ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks and work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively with a variety of people at all levels. PREFERRED: knowledge of HR/MIT policies/procedures and relevant OFCCP rules/regulations (i.e., Internet Applicant Recordkeeping Rule), especially those related to basic qualifications; familiarity with human capital management systems; and education beyond a high school diploma.
