Opportunity

Abt Global seeks bright, talented, and intellectually curious students to participate in our summer Abternship. As a paid Project Management Analyst Intern in the Operations organization, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience while being immersed into Abt’s organizational culture. Interns will learn from some of the top experts in their respective fields while experiencing events/programs that are useful in any professional setting. Our programs will consist of a robust and structured curriculum that encompasses professional development opportunities, networking events, and a mentorship program. Interns can be remote, hybrid, or in person and can be located anywhere in the United States.

The Summer Internship Program at Abt Global is 10 weeks, beginning June 2, 2025, through August 8, 2025. Interns must be able to work full time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the program.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Candidate must participate in programming/seminars/meetings scheduled throughout the Abternship. The Project Management Analyst Intern will:

• Work with our Project Excellence side of the organization, learning about our global quality management system and our project management policies and procedures

• Help review, organize and align all of our documentation around a consistent structure and terminology

• Translate process work into an update of our Project Management Level 1 self-paced training

• Create an outline based on stakeholder input

• Pull together training materials

• Move the content into the training system

• Create elements to enhance the training such as quizzes and study questions spread throughout the content to test the trainee’s knowledge throughout.

What We Value

• Candidate is currently enrolled in an undergraduate level degree program

• Ideal candidates will have academic or work experience with project management

• Experience using Microsoft products, specifically Excel and Word

• Ideal candidate may also have experience with government contracting organizations

• Has completed at least two years of college coursework

• Is available to work full-time throughout the 10-week internship

• Is eligible to work in the United States

• Transitioning military are also encouraged to apply

This position offers an anticipated hourly rate of:

Undergraduate student: $25.00/hour
