As the Manager - Vaccines CRM Operations you'll be responsible for supporting and improving CRM systems in the Go-to-Market Capabilities (GTMC) organization. The role involves working closely with support teams to resolve issues, managing CRM configurations, and customizing features such as workflow rules, triggers, and dashboards. The position requires engaging with business units to understand their needs and develop solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. A key focus is on building Veeva reports, supporting offline tools, and maintaining system documentation. Additionally, the role involves training staff on CRM updates, overseeing system processes, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify process improvements.

Strategic context:

Sanofi has currently the best and most robust pipeline of R&D and consequent new launches in our history. As new phase of Play-To-Win strategy, funding this pipeline and new launches is key to materialize the miracles of science to improve people lives. Thus, as we enter the next phase, modernization of Sanofi is required as per the recent announcements on DRIVE, and in this respect, we are organizing the Go-to-Market Capabilities (GTMC) team.

The GTMC organization will help us to drive best-in-class capabilities across the board and bring value and excellence in our commercial operations. This move is a key part of the aimed modernization of Sanofi and will allow us to focus on our priorities across our products, market and pipeline through the reallocation of resources and realizing the efficiencies of removing silos that exist between our business units, avoiding the duplication and overlapping of resources, standardizing our processes and tools, operating with a One Sanofi approach to accelerate our key capabilities development, and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit by speeding up the decision making.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Support teams to bring open Help Desk issues to a resolution by triage and monitoring progress.

  • Veeva report building to export and support offline excel tools and spreadsheets, with extensive formulas, macros and template versions.

  • Engage with the business and end user teams to understand pain points and solution issues in conjunction with the ITS administrators and business partners.

  • Manage initiatives to improve the business units operational processes support the vision of central point of access with a strong focus on user experience

  • Works with BU and Brand Lead to understand business needs and provide effective efficient requirements for Veeva Vault CLM, Approved Email and Veeva Engage.

  • Define and develop full SOPs on the process to maintain and enhance the field and patient focused commercial & medical systems to leverage in their roles to ensure sustainability and efficiency.

  • Provide training support for the customer facing roles work closely with the business units in the development, communication and training of Veeva/CRM changes or enhancements & remediation plans for all employees.

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining documentation and QC process around application development, dashboards, reports, and any other functional areas as required.

  • Responsible for the overall configuration, design, and functionality of the Salesforce/Veeva CRM functions

  • Conduct analysis and documentation of existing business processes; recommend process improvements

  • Creating and managing workflow rules, data validations, triggers, and object customizations

  • Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards

  • Managing operational requests and assisting in the escalated triage of support issues, working with diverse user groups

  • Assist in gathering requirements to continuously improve the CRM platform

  • Assisting in the evaluation of new Veeva & Salesforce.com functionality and App Exchange tools for feasibility and impact to the business

  • Creating and maintaining system interface diagrams, functional designs, and technical specifications

  • Proactively identifying production risks and creating actionable mitigation plans

  • Assist with internal and external audits including compliance

About You

  • 3+ years CRM/ Salesforce.com Administrator & Veeva experience in addition to an Associates or Bachelors degree

  • Veeva Certified & Veeva Vault experience preferred

  • 5 years Experience preferred mostly in the biotech / pharma space

  • Technical proficiency with analytics systems and Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications

  • Candidate should have experience with system and application monitoring

  • Ability to analyze existing processes and propose process improvements that can increase accuracy, efficiency or cost

  • Experience with vendor management

  • Experience developing, leading and performing large application test plans (functional UAT and SIT integration)

  • Experience customizing Salesforce.com using Visual force and Apex

Travel: 10-15 % of travel expected
