    Job Description

MANAGER OF OPERATIONS AND SPECIAL PROJECTS, Student Support and Wellbeing (SWB), to serve as a critical member of SWB leadership team and provide high-level operational, organizational, and logistical support to advance a range of projects and initiatives. Will serve as the glue that brings the team together, working closely with all of the teams that make up SWB, including Student Support Services, Disability and Access Services, Violence Prevention and Response, the CARE Team, Student Wellbeing, LBGTQ+, Intercultural Engagement, and Women’s and Gender Services. Will help achieve SWB’s mission of supporting students, helping them feel a sense of belonging, facilitating their academic success, and educating them about living healthy and purposeful lives. The position is ideal for someone who likes operations and systems and enjoys being part of a team doing important work. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least three years of administration, operations, and/or project/program management experience; excellent organizational, planning, project management, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills; diplomacy and tact when handling sensitive information and situations; flexibility and comfort with ambiguity; and attention to detail and timeliness. Must be able to work strategically, make decisions, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment; follow through on complex projects; work both independently and collaboratively on teams; and work effectively with a diverse population of students, faculty and staff. PREFERRED: master’s degree, experience in higher education, and QuickBase experience.
