FABRICATION FACILITIES SERVICES DEVELOPER, MIT .nano (https://mitnano.mit.edu/) , will lead the effort in establishing and maintaining a central point of entry for users to gain access into several academic fabrication facilities in the Northeast, known as the Northeast Microelectronics Coalition(NEMC) Hub; establish and maintain relationships with NEMC Hub facilities leadership and senior managers, visiting the facilities regularly; develop and maintain a deep understanding of NEMC Hub facilities capabilities in fabrication, metrology, characterization, packaging and heterogeneous integration, as well as basic tool categories and capabilities and developed process sequences, and of facility policies and procedures and training requirements; and develop a system that provides for expedited training of users on equivalent tools/instruments within the NEMC Hub facilities.Find the full job description here: https://mitnano.mit.edu/opportunities/mitnano-job-opening-fabrication-facilities-services-developer

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Masters in Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or related discipline; a minimum of five years of experience in semiconductor process facilities or equivalent; direct experience in the operation of cleanroom processing equipment (metrology, vacuum, wet chemical processing, diffusion, furnace, plasma, and photolithography systems); knowledgeable with materials characterization and growth systems; experience in project management including scheduling of complex process and equipment workflows; ability to quickly learn new technologies and communicate those concepts to users; experience with web technologies and information databases; excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills; ability to deliver the highest level of support and customer service; self-motivated with a proactive approach to responsibilities while working under minimal supervision; meticulous attention to detail; and excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. PREFERRED: Doctorate in Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or related discipline; and experience working in academic shared semiconductor process facilities.
