Job Description

A biotechnology company is seeking a Data Business Analyst to join their Digital Quality organization on a contract basis. This role will be 60% BA work and 40% data analysis. This resource will support the Stability business domain, working with SMEs and developers to ensure accurate analytical data processing platform setup and processing of data/studies in the backend system.

Scope of Work

 Collaborate with business SMEs to understand business processes related to the Stability domain.

 Provide context and requirements to developers for the setup of studies and data in the backend system.

 Perform data profiling to understand LIMS/Stability business processes.

 Conduct data analysis to identify business logic, rules, and potential data quality issues.

 Assist development team in implementing the correct data structures and logic in the backend system.

 Support development of data pipelines or processes for efficient data handling within the Stability domain.

Compensation:

$70/hour to $75/hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Business Analysis Skills: Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate them effectively to the development team.

 Labvantage and Stability Domain Expertise ( to do data setup and studies management)

 Data Analysis & Profiling: ( analyze data from LIMS/Stability processes and identify patterns and issues)

 SQL Expertise: Advanced proficiency in SQL for data querying, analysis, and manipulation of backend data. Data Engineering Skills: Experience in data engineering, including data pipeline development and integration within the LIMS/Stability domain.

 ETL Experience: Familiarity with ETL processes, particularly within LIMS or Stability business data contexts. null
