Title: Administrative Coordinator
Location: Cambridge, MA 02138 100% Onsite
Work Schedule: 35 hours/week
Duration: 2 months, with potential for extension
Pay Rate: $25 to $30/hr
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Coordinator to manage and support programs, projects, and events. This role requires excellent communication, administrative, and organizational skills to ensure seamless program operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a college environment and the ability to adapt quickly to new software platforms, such as EMS Room book.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and take ownership of programs, projects, or events, ensuring efficient execution.
Develop and implement administrative systems to manage program activities effectively.
Serve as the main point of contact for inquiries from customers, participants, and academic collaborators, providing accurate and timely information.
Prepare and maintain records, reports, budgets, and program plans.
Maintain program materials, web pages, or websites as needed.
Plan, prioritize, and track tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Support scheduling, room reservations, and other administrative needs using platforms like EMS Room book.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2–3 years in a related role, preferably in a college or academic environment.
Technical Skills:
Basic to advanced proficiency in common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Comfort learning and using new software platforms.
Soft Skills:
Strong multitasking abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while handling multiple priorities effectively.
