Mick George Class 2 Sweeper Driver - Cambridge in Cambridge, United Kingdom
Here at The Mick George Group we are looking for Class 2 Sweeper Drivers to join our Cambridge site.
Fantastic opportunity to join our existing team of Sweeper Drivers. Successful applicants must hold a Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph card & Drivers Qualification card.
Requirements:
Be fully aware of the rules of the road and the regulations specified in the Highway Code & always abide by them & the Road Traffic Act 1988.
Have sound knowledge of Road Transport Working Time Directive & Drivers Hours Regulations & abide by them.
Complete & record comprehensive pre-use & end of shift defect checks.
Continuously check the roadworthiness of your vehicle by way of walkaround checks throughout the course of each shift and report any defects found.
Always ensure that a load is secure in line with the vehicle safe system of work, before leaving site. Never travel with an unsafe, insecure or overweight load.
Adhere to site specific rules at all times, following rules signposted & given to you on respective site inductions.
Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness-both interior & exterior.
Contribute in your fullest capacity to the company delivering a best-in-class customer service to all our customers, including maintaining a good relationship with customers at all times.
Undertake any other duties that are if a a reasonable request.
Demonstrate a safe, economic & defensive driving style at all times.
Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph card & Drivers Qualification card.
Demonstrate a high standard of geographical knowledge.
Benefits:
On target earnings circa £40,000 per annum plus performance related bonuses.
Annual leave entitlement of 28 days inclusive of Bank Holidays per annum.
