Talascend Process Management Analyst in Calvert, Alabama

A Talascend client in the Mobile, Alabama area has a need for a Process Management Analyst with strong programming language experience to support the Logistics team. This rolewill analyze data outputs to formulate conclusions, and present findings and recommendations to Management to support Internal Logistics business decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gather and analyze data required to support Logistics related operations and projects involving transport costs, asset utilization, de-bottlenecking exercises, and optimizing movements Analyze Internal Logistics business activities to determine best strategic plan Facilitate CI initiatives to improve overall Internal Logistics performance and costs Lead projects related to Internal Logistics inventory capacities, discrepancies, or throughput overall Develop reports so that tracking KPIs, throughput, and accuracy in inventory and shipping is achieved Working in SAP BOBJ and HANA - databases, reporting systems Creating database queries Working within in-houseTWMS (Transportation Warehouse Management System) application Conduct presentations to various stakeholders, as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED required; BS in related area preferred Minimum of 2 years experience with analyzing data for process improvements and KPI reporting (preferred in the Logistics field, i.e. transportation/distribution management, network optimization, and inventory management) Experience with effective cross-functional collaboration with various groups Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially with Excel Must be capable of writing queries to pull data from multiple internal systems Familiarity with using various statistical analysis tools Working knowledge of PowerBI, strongly preferred Working knowledge of SQL, highlypreferred Working knowledge of SAP and Oracle preferred Knowledge of various supply chain management activities including Logistics, Production Planning, and Order Management, a plus Willingness to work on site 5 days per week; no hybrid or remote opportunity for this role Demonstrates strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills Makes sense of complex, high quality, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems Strong presentation skills Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material Demonstrates strong interpersonal communications skills, written and verbal Demonstrates strong work ethic and displays a high degree of professionalism
