Acentra seeks a Clinical Supervisor of Behavioral Health to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

Direct, manage, and evaluate functions of behavioral Clinical Reviewers to ensure unit productivity regarding contract deliverables and core functions. Serves in a supervisory and advisory capacity and provides oversight of behavioral health clinical reviewers for utilization review.

*Position is remote, but candidates must reside within the State of California.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day direct supervision of behavioral Clinical Reviewers and participates in hiring, training, and developing behavioral clinical reviewer staff.

  • Manage behavioral Clinical Reviewers workload.

  • Ensure that Clinical Reviewers meet established performance standards.

  • Provide clinical leadership and consultation to staff.

  • Perform field work for Health Care Quality Unit (HCQU) contract deliverables and core functions; prepares and submits required reports; Acts as a liaison with the HCQU consulting psychiatrist and psychologist.

  • Collaborate with HCQU administrative team to develop unit objectives and goals and assist unit leaders.

  • Facilitate management of unit documents and training with a behavioral focus through review and approval according to unit processes.

  • Directly supervise Clinical staff

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Behavioral Health discipline.

  • Active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) licensure for the State of California.

  • 1+ years of experience working in the field of Behavior Health.

  • Some principles of management and supervision; willingness to learn and grow as a manager.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Products, specifically Microsoft word, excel, teams, and SharePoint.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service

  • Ability to problem solve.

  • Ability to provide technical consultation and policy interpretation.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $70,200-95,000.

Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
