Amelex Inc. SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (Req 25 009) in California, Maryland
Responsibilities: Support of program coordination, development of requirements, requirements tracking, system design and development, and verification and validation testing. The work will be performed in support of the US Navy in the development of IFF Systems. Apply and integrate engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems. Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
Apply engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, QA testing, or acquisition and resource management. Analyze, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military C5ISR systems, and associated support systems, or management information systems.
Education: BS or BA degree from an accredited institution as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Experience: Ten (10) years of experience is required. At least six (6) years of required ten (10) years experience must be in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Experience in requirements development and tracking. Understanding of system design process including design review and verification. Knowledge of system verification and validation including writing and review of test plans. Combat identification systems knowledge and experience. Technical writing and NAVAIR SETR process experience is preferred.
Other:Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. A Secret Security Clearance is preferred. This position will require 5-10% travel to sponsor and OEM facilities, as well as test sites.
Wage Range Information:This full-time positions wage range is $120,000- $150,000 (salary) depending on experience and qualifications.
