WSP is growing and has an opportunity for a skilled Technologist/Engineer, Instrumentation and Control to join us in our Calgary Instrumentation team. As a Technologist/Engineer with us, you’ll be part of our growing team, using your skills to design and partner on major Infrastructure projects in Canada.

What you can expect to do here:
You'll be using your expertise to complete and develop design criteria and standardized technical specifications, specify instrumentation (selection, technical data sheets, bid analysis and recommendations, instrumentation sizing), collaborate with our many counterparts in all our different disciplines at WSP and provide expertise and client deliverables on projects.
You’ll be managing relationships with internal and external clients and ensuring that their needs are understood and met, providing your guidance and expertise;
You’ll assist in the development of PIDs by ensuring proper instrument symbology and control loop definition.
You'll participate in model reviews to ensure proper installation of instrumentation best practices.
What you’ll bring to WSP:
Bachelors' degree in electrical engineering/instrumentation or technical diploma in industrial Instrumentation
Minimum 5 years of experience in Energy or Oil and Gas Industry
Knowledge in instrumentation selection for various processes
Knowledge of industrial process in various industries
Registered as a professional engineer in the province of Alberta is an asset
Strong interpersonal skill combined with a positive team-oriented attitude
Excellent communication skills.
