Fujitsu SAP EWM/TM in Calgary, Alberta

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Process Analysis, Solution Design and Development:

  2. Analyze client business processes and requirements, and design and architect solutions using SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Transportation Management (TM) modules.

  3. Configure the SAP EWM and TM modules to optimize warehouse management and transportation processes.

  4. Prepare and present detailed system proposals and findings to stakeholders.

  5. Develop strategies to integrate these solutions into the client's existing landscape.

  6. Create scalable and efficient SAP EWM and TM module configurations that meet business requirements and processes to support the following business scenarios:

  • Inbound and Outbound Logistics Management:

  • Understand how SAP EWM facilitates the efficient management of inbound and outbound goods, including receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.

  • Warehouse Slotting and Layout Optimization:

  • Familiarity with SAP EWM's capabilities for warehouse slotting optimization to maximize storage space utilization and improve picking efficiency.

  • Transportation Planning and Execution:

  • Knowledge of SAP TM functionalities for transportation planning, carrier selection, route optimization, and freight cost calculation.

  • Cross-Docking and Transshipment Operations:

  • Understanding of SAP EWM features to support cross-docking and transshipment operations, enabling direct transfer of goods between inbound and outbound vehicles without intermediate storage.

  • Yard Management:

  • Familiarity with SAP EWM's yard management capabilities for efficient handling of trailers, containers, and other assets in the warehouse yard.

  • Real-Time Visibility and Analytics:

  • Ability to leverage SAP S/4HANA's embedded analytics and reporting capabilities to provide real-time visibility into warehouse and transportation operations, enabling data-driven decision-making.

  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:

  • Awareness of industry-specific compliance requirements and regulations related to warehouse and transportation operations, and ability to configure SAP solutions to ensure regulatory compliance.

  1. Project Management and Implementation:

  2. Lead and manage SAP Extended Warehouse Management and Transportation Management implementation from inception through to completion.

  3. Oversee the work of implementation teams to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.

  4. Coordinate with other project stakeholders including business users, IT staff, and external vendors.

  5. Business Process Analysis:

  6. Analyze client business processes and requirements to identify improvement opportunities through SAP solutions.

  7. Configure the SAP EWM and TM modules to optimize warehouse management and transportation processes.

  8. Prepare and present detailed system proposals and findings to stakeholders.

  9. Testing and Quality Assurance:

  10. Develop and oversee testing plans to ensure the functionality and performance of the SAP system.

  11. Lead problem-solving during testing phases and post Go-Live.

  12. Training and Support:

  13. Provide training to users on the new systems and processes.

  14. Offer ongoing support and enhancements post-implementation to ensure continued system performance and user satisfaction.

  15. Stakeholder Management:

  16. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  17. Manage expectations and ensure the alignment of business objectives with technical solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA, especially EWM and TM modules.

  • SAP certification in EWM and TM modules is highly regarded.

  • Proven track record in leading large-scale SAP implementation projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA module integration of SAP EWM and SAP TM with Finance Accounting and Managerial Accounting (Record To Report), Supply Chain (Procure to Pay), Sales and Distribution (Order to Cash), and Manufacturing (Plan to Produce) including Quality Management and Environment, Health and Safety.

  • Strong ability to analyze and redesign business processes, workflows, and system integration.

  • Experience in leading and managing teams in complex project environments.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of an organization effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues during the project life

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. ​ It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $110,720.00 to $155,008.00 CAD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.​
