Job Description
AECOM GTA is currently seeking a Requirements Management Specialist to join our Systems Engineering and Systems Assurance Team and work with multidisciplinary teams delivering an existing and future portfolio of projects.
Essential Criteria:
Extensive knowledge and experience with the standard IS0 15288 and its application in the railway sector.
Experience working with Requirement Management tools such as DOORS NG or ComplyPro.
Able to demonstrate ability and experience in formulating and implementing System Engineering plans and processes and ensuring that project teams operate in accordance with those plans and processes.
Experience working on eliciting and gathering requirements covering several systems, facilities, and other technical trades.
Experience in analyzing and categorizing requirements in DOORS NG and similar tools.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare or review Systems Engineering Management plans, including the Requirements Managements Plan, V&V Management Plan, System Quality Assurance Plan, Configuration Management Plan, etc.
Review Verification and Validation evidence against requirements and specifications.
Review derived requirements, including safety and security requirements.
Perform requirements analysis and identify gaps, redundancies, contradictions.
Prepare periodic reports on the progress of V&V activities.
Prepare weekly or monthly status and engineering reports to Customer.
Work with the Independent Safety Assessor to lift observations and demonstrate safety.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering + 6 years experience performing Requirement Management activities on Railway or similar projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 10 years of experience working in Railway Projects.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $110,000.00 - $160,000.00.
