Job Title: Production Associate

Aerotek is looking for production workers who will be working in the production area, primarily grading products for quality or moving materials around for the production line. This role requires standing for 8 hours in a cooler environment with a temperature of around 5 degrees Celsius. The workspace is busy and fast-paced.

Shifts include an afternoon shift from 2pm - 10:30pm weekend work is mandatory

Pay: $16/hr

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks and separate products once they are ready.

• Palletize products based on labels and client needs.

• Abide by proper food safety standards in production rooms while packaging, grading, and labeling products.

• Ensure products on pallets are aligned properly and labels are correct before shrink wrapping.

• Label cases accurately.

• Separate and dispose of recyclable and non-recyclable packaging.

• Dispose of non-salvageable products into provided bins and empty as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, warehouse, store, or any fast-paced work environment.

• Comfortable working in cooler environments.

• Ability to stand for long hours.

• Safe heavy lifting up to 50lbs if needed.

• Strong attention to detail for visual inspection of products, accurate counting, and applying labels properly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Student mindset with the ability to learn new tasks within the first three days of training and perform without supervision.

• Comfortable working in a team environment.

• Ability to work both morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends.

Work Environment

The working environment is a cooler with a temperature of around 5 degrees Celsius, and the production room is about 55 degrees Fahrenheit. The facility can be a bit loud due to machines, with a noise level of about 85 decibels. The team consists of approximately 90-100 people, including employees and contractors. The dress code includes smocks, hairnets, beard nets, ear plugs, latex gloves, and steel toe boots. No jewelry is allowed on the floor, and long sleeve shirts and pants without holes are required.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00
