Job Title: Power Pallet Operator

Job Description

This position involves picking orders for pet products, including pet food, litter, and other heavy items. The role requires manual labor and operation of the double walkie/double end rider, reach truck, or dock stocker to pick orders using the Vo collect voice system. Continuous lifting is necessary to build pallets on the jack, and you may need to pick products from pallets overhead.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for pet products, including heavy items like pet food and litter.

• Operate the double walkie/double end rider, reach truck, or dock stocker.

• Use the Vo collect voice system for order picking.

• Continuously lift and build pallets on the jack.

• Pick products from pallets overhead when necessary.

Essential Skills

• Experience with electric pallet jack, walkie, order picking, power pallet jack, and end rider.

• Ability to pass a full forklift assessment.

• Experience with reach truck or dockstocker.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs continuously.

• Experience in shipping and receiving, material handling, unloading, loading, palletizing, and using RF scan gun.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• RF experience

• Vocollect headset picking experience

• Shipper/receiver experience

Work Environment

This is a 3PL environment for pet products. The shift is Monday to Friday, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, with potential for overtime. The rate for afternoon shifts is $21.00 per hour. The work culture is friendly and pet-oriented, with many employees displaying pictures of their pets around the warehouse.
