Your Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM implementation specialist to be part of our Talent product team, supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Core HR, Talent and Learning modules enhancements and upgrades in production and be part of an upcoming project that will be focused on implementing Oracle HCM suite; Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Oracle Payroll, Oracle Time, and Labor and all the required inbound and outbound integrations. We therefore would like applicants to apply that have particularly strong skills and application knowledge in Oracle Cloud HCM.

This role will primarily oversee, configure, implement, and design functional solutions as the functional subject matter expert in Oracle Cloud HCM. The Functional Developer will provide an interactive gateway with end user groups on helping align business processes with Oracle functionality, adopt best practices and keep abreast of Oracle relevant module enhancements, directions, and updates.

The successful candidate can be based in any one of our Stantec offices located in Canada.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Recommend Oracle Cloud HCM functionality and capabilities to help meet new business requirements, improve existing business processes and/or address application problems.

  • Be part of a team responsible for recommending solution designs to the business based on Oracle best practices leveraging out-of-the-box functionality, where appropriate, to address gaps.

  • Develop impact analysis and implement strategies to manage change for large new system implementations or small functionality changes.

  • Develop functional design documents in collaboration with developers and other analysts.

  • Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of Oracle Cloud HCM solutions along with developers, testers, database administrators, and application support analysts.

  • Monitor, analyze, and advise on testing of application patches/upgrades.

  • Configure application to meet requirements.

  • Work closely with developers on customizations to translate business requirements into detailed system requirements and design.

  • Work closely with quality assurance analysts to develop and execute appropriate test strategies/plans.

  • Work closely with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and present/discuss technical solutions with the business.

  • Monitor releases from Oracle and provide impact assessment to management.

  • Provide post-implementation support and functional abilities to assist the Operations Teams.

  • Work collaboratively with the management team to assist them in managing priorities, resources, and cross project dependencies.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Experience as an Oracle Cloud HCM implementation specialist.

  • Creative problem solver with good understanding of Human Capital Management business processes.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Highly self-motivated and directed.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Functional experience with Oracle Cloud HCM.

Education and Experience

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in business, information systems or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, including experience configuring and implementing for Oracle Cloud HCM.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):

  • Lower Mainland $81,200 / Other BC areas $76,600 - Lower Mainland $117,800 / Other BC areas $111,100 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in BC (Lower Mainland includes Vancouver & Burnaby)

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
