Aircraft Mechanic - M2 Licensed (Contract)

Job Description

We are seeking Licensed Aircraft Mechanics to assist with the heavy maintenance of Q400, 737NG MAX, and SAAB aircraft. The primary focus will be on performing C Checks, with additional duties in Line Maintenance in Calgary and Edmonton. Candidates must be flexible and open to working in various capacities.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance checks (C Checks) on Q400, 737NG MAX, and SAAB aircraft.

• Conduct line maintenance tasks as required in Calgary and Edmonton.

• Carry out aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and parts used.

Essential Skills

• Licensed Aircraft Mechanic - M2 OR unlicensed with 5+ years of experience on aircraft.

• Experience with Q400, 737NG MAX, or SAAB aircraft.

• Proficiency in heavy and line maintenance.

• Ability to perform C Checks.

• RAIC certification.

Work Environment

The work will be conducted in a hangar, focusing on heavy maintenance checks alongside a team of 5-6 AMEs. Shifts are 12 hours, with flexibility to work as much as possible, including the option to work 6 days a week. Line maintenance facilities operate 24-hour shifts, requiring flexibility from employees. The dress code is appropriate for a maintenance hangar environment.
