Job Description

Start time is usually between 5 AM - 7 AM, Monday-Friday, finishing at 4 PM/5 PM daily depending on workload and weather. Pay is $22-$28, depending on experience and the interview. Candidates must have previous experience and keep up with the quick pace of work.

• The contractor will report to the commercial jobsite or the office in the morning.

• They will carry concrete bags, tools, and equipment from the truck to the site.

• They will use those items to erect wooden forms for concrete to be poured inside.

• These forms are made out of wood and iron and are placed from blueprints in the shape of walls.

• The contractor will be directed by the foremen on where to place and carry the forms.

• The contractor will lift up to 100lbs between the forms, concrete mix, and equipment.

• They will use a hammer to nail the forms/wooden frames into place and a tape measure to ensure the forms are correctly positioned.

• Experience with concrete finishing using trowel and other tools is required.

Work Environment

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

This is a fully on-site position in Caledonia, Michigan.

The environment will change daily, depending on the assigned work site.

The work will be outdoors, often dirty and dusty.

Construction sites will have other trades working alongside, with machinery, tools, and people moving around to build the structure.
