Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist based in Calabasas, California. This role falls in the telecom provider industry and the workplace is a professional office setting. The main job function is to handle Accounts Payable tasks, along with other accounting and billing functions.

Responsibilities:

• Processing approximately 100 invoices per week

• Using Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions

• Handling Accounts Payable tasks including entering vendor invoices and coding invoices

• Responsible for billing functions and maintaining accurate records

• Ensuring the accuracy of all financial data and performing regular audits

• Managing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking necessary action for delinquent payments

• Resolving customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Collaborating with the accounting team to improve financial processes and efficiency

• Assisting in other accounting projects as required by the management. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory for data processing and financial modeling

• Solid understanding and experience in Accounting Functions to ensure accurate financial management

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) to manage company's financial obligations effectively

• Familiarity with Billing Functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing

• Ability to Code Invoices accurately to maintain proper financial records

• Experience in Coding Invoices to ensure all financial transactions are properly categorized

• Proficiency in entering Vendor Invoices into the accounting system accurately and timely

• Experience in Scanning Invoices and maintaining digital records for future reference
