Junior devOps Engineer
MaxAB is hiring in Maadi, Cairo devOps Engineer:
We are looking for an analytical, results driven devOps engineer. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software engineering and employ DevOps tools to improve the development team's production. The candidate shall guide a hardworking Engineering team through the process of designing and writing a dependable codebase. This position will also allow our DevOps Engineer to innovate our engineering systems and practices.
DevOps engineer Aspects of the Role:
Design and manage Dev, test and production environments on public cloud
Work with the development team to develop testing objectives and plan
Drive deployment of applications and performing QA including functional, performance, security and resilience testing
Identify and deploy the optimal tools and techniques to implement CI/CD and test automation
Analyze testing results and troubleshoot/triage issues with teams to identify and resolve root causes
Develop an operational KPI dashboard, monitor system metrics and analyze log files
Support help desk as the escalation point for reported bugs
Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent practical experience.
+1 year work experience in DevOps Engineering
Can maintain JAVA, Nodejs, or go web applications.
Has experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring.
Has a working knowledge of databases and SQL (preferred Postgres) and MongoDB.
Strong knowledge of Linux system administration
Hands-on experience in managing AWS EKS cluster and ECS cluster
Familiarity with Docker containerization
intermediate understanding of Helm charts
Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, cloud formation)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (GitHub Actions)
Monitor and optimize CI/CD processes to improve software delivery speed and reliability
Experience with continuous deployment tools like ArgoCD.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to automation and efficiency
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
