Job Description:

Position Summary:

This role is responsible to monitor retail store department inventory levels by establishing inventory metrics and analyzing variations. Complete inventory compliance audits and work with store management to ensure store associates are properly trained and inventory procedures are followed.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Responsible to monitor retail store SKU department inventory levels; ensure orders are received accurately in the Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) system.

  • Complete store CAO compliance audits.

  • Identify and research potential issues, follow up with store management to resolve compliance issues.

  • Partner with store management ensuring store personnel are properly trained on CAO system.

  • Develop and analyze order adjustment reports to ensure accurate inventory; identify issues and follow up with store management in a timely manner.

  • Review auto closed invoices for stores using CAO to ensure product received inventory has been accurately updated.

  • Complete linking verification on the New and Discounted conversion item list ensuring stores are receiving the correct product.

  • Review store invoices for substitution items verifying stores are not receiving excessive inventory.

  • Review Enterprise Information Systems (EIS), known loss, inventory on hand and item sold amounts; comparing product received to the items lost.

  • Monitor incoming presells and follow up on the stores order status within company website.

  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best retail inventory practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes.

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates orBachelor'sdegree in Businesspreferred.

  • Two yearsofretail store operations experiencewith inventory, ordering, scanning and receiving preferred.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be detail-oriented with good analytical skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

  • Ability to develop relationships, work collaboratively and communicate effectively.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of ct2020, OMS and HQ software systems helpful.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% including overnight stays.
