Shift First Overview
Our growing company is seeking to hire a Maintenance Tech - Working Lead. 4 - 10 hr. days, 1st shift position (split shift - schedule to be determined) Overtime Fri. & Sat. $1,000 sign-on Bonus PTO upon hired Benefits after 30 days
Responsibilities
Overall responsible for the preventative maintenance program; ensures that equipment is on the preventative maintenance program, schedules are valid, thorough, and completed according to the system schedule Utilize eMaint system to track trouble calls & PMs and also make recommendations for improvements on repeat issues Oversees spare parts, material and inventories. Reach out to vendors and contractors for quotes and to schedule repairs for machines onsite Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action Efficient with the MMS and eMaint software Write the orders and do the preparation to ship out any equipment for repair/return Train employees and complete training records Ensures technicians are complying with maintenance process documentation Maintains PM schedule adherence and works with management on proper staffing levels to meet PM schedules All other duties assigned Prioritize Maintenance group objectives and goals Delegates projects & PMs Support Kaizen events and participate in Continuous Improvement projects Split time as working lead at around 40% production support and 60% Lead responsibilities (can vary depending on workload and priorities) Lead team members on both 1st and 2nd
Qualifications
Three or more years of related experience and/or training in maintenance field: or equivalent combination of education and experience Three or more years of experience as a Lead or Supervisor Must have a valid drivers license Must have strong oral and written communication skills Thorough understanding of maintenance operations, equipment and parts
