This is a Job Description for a Team Lead Weekend (Fri-Sun 5:00am-5:30pm) in Byhalia, Mississippi.

Summary: This position is responsible for owning the Customer Orders Team in the required tasks for moving product through the distribution center, safely and accurately, while following all safety and company policies and procedures.  This position is also responsible for maintaining a positive work environment by communicating and interacting in a manner that is conducive to the purpose and mission of the company overall.

Duties and Responsibilities: Interacts with RC employees, management daily. Assigns tasks to personnel to perform. Meet productivity standards set by management without damage to product. Ensure all carrier damages are notated on Bill of Landing and that the damages are properly stored in the appropriate area pending carrier inspection. Process receipts. Assign trailers to the dock on a scheduled basis using Yard Management. Assist in resolving discrepancies between plants and the RC concerning problems encountered with inventory counts, codes, batches, unitization, stretch wrap, etc. Resolve inbound/outbound discrepancies promptly. Transports material by operating various types of material handling equipment (e.g.: forklift, clamp truck, cherry picker, reach truck). Interacts with RC employees, management daily. Process Orders. Resolve Inbound/Outbound discrepancies, promptly. Responsible for assuring the accurate and efficient processing of all shipments, as required by customer requirements. Knowledge of the sample, damage, and return goods processes. Work with warehouse computer applications (WM, Traxx, RF Term, etc.). Placard all loads as required (government, military, export, etc,). Work with RAQA on validation of systems and systems changes. Must use correct pallets and packaging (as the need arises by customer or country) to ship product. Participate in projects/teams to continuously improve the operation and key result areas (i.e., safety, quality, service and cost). Assure compliance to all procedures related to Regulatory, Environmental, Health and Safety Requirements, including spills, damages, and returns. Must be able to work independently with minimal direction. Performing other tasks, as assigned. Documentation: Maintain a daily Powered Industrial Truck Inspection Checklist. Complete Pick/Pack documents for Freezer products and packing lists, as required. Document Inventory Discrepancies. Complete training assignments, on time.

Requirements and Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 5+ years of Warehouse experience. General knowledge of material flow and the distribution process. Must have knowledge of the sample, damage, and return goods processes. Previous work in the warehouse environment. Must be able to drive a forklift (stand up, sit down, reach). Must have good telephone communication skills to interact with product vendor locations. Must be able to work without direct supervision. Computer Skills (Microsoft Word/Excel, etc). Good Manufacturing Practices. Warehouse Management Systems Experience.
