This is a job for a Amplify Cell Tech - Electrical Engineer position with a company located in Byhalia, MS.

NOTE: The successful candidate for this position will initially be hired as a Daimler Truck North America employee and subsequently transition to Amplify Cell Technologies organization structure and benefits, contingent upon customary closing conditions and receipt of applicable merger control and regulatory approvals. The benefits under Amplify Cell Technologies may differ slightly from those provided by DTNA.

Duties: Take equipment from a rough concept to full production. Manage equipment suppliers or internal design teams through development and deployment milestonesOPO release, FDR, FAT, SAT, SOP, Ramp. Development station requirements (work content, automated versus manual, buffering strategy, redundancy requirements, etc.). Work with industrial engineering to develop material flow strategy within factory. Identify utilities needed and utility distribution strategy (PDPs, compressed air, process water, etc.). Complete process failure mode and analysis (PFMEA). Develop equipment timing charts. Oversee equipment installation and coordinate with building and utilities team. Develop equipment validation plans and execute them. Create detailed Manufacturing Instructions to document new processes.

Qualifications: Candidates who hold bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering OR equivalent. Experienced manufacturing professionals with a minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on expertise in a manufacturing environment. Multiple new equipment design/installations. Large manufacturing lines implementation. Experience with industrial engineering concepts-such as line balancing and timing charts. Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Experience designing mechanical equipment, fixturing, and tooling in CAD (SolidWorks preferred, Catia is also a plus). Understanding of tolerance stack up. Understanding of manufacturing equipment safety systems (Safety PLCs, safety category requirements, robot safety, safety guarding, light curtains, LOTO, etc.). PLC controls experience(Allen Bradley, Siemens, and/or Beckhoff). Experience with MES and database system architecture and data tracking Python and/or MYSQL experience.
