NORTHWESTERN ENERGY Intern Hydro Design Drafter in BUTTE, Montana
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Drafting or Engineering Technology major required
- Successfully completed freshman year or above
- In good academic standing
- Must provide GPA in Resume upon application
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time may be required
- Ability to lift material up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass an employment physical, a drug test and a background check
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Support as-built survey and drafting work for various ongoing and future projects
- Work closely with drafting, engineering and field personnel
- Work almost daily with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant
- Occasional use of Word, Access and Excel
- Learn and use Adept drawing repository
- Assist with as-built processes
- Assist with station schematics
- Assist with backlog of as-built drawings
- Participate in organizational work meetings
- Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
- Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Temporary position, will work May - August full-time (40 hours per week); September - December part-time (20 hours per week).
$20.00 per hour.
