About this position:
The Environmental Engineer will work on a variety of environmental compliance initiatives and remediation projects. These may include: 1) developing and/or managing SPCC and storm water plans; 2) managing oil spill remediation projects; assisting with RCRA and TSCA compliance and PCB programs; 3) administering underground storage tank requirements; 4) assisting with management of air quality permits and emission reporting requirements; and 5) conducting or managing site acquisition due diligence.

About this job:
Provide technical support for environmental initiatives
Coordinate project team work and deliverables
Interface with internal project managers and environmental personnel
Manage internal and external resources and contractors as part of a multi-disciplinary project team
Coordinate or manage remediation projects
Experience in design and execution of environmental sampling projects
Statewide travel and outdoor environment up to 25% of the time; overnight travel is required up to 10% of the time

Am I right for this job? Here's the success profile:
Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
Formal training and experience with soils, solid and hazardous waste, air and water resources required
Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering required
Five years of experience in environmental engineering with PE or ability to obtain PE preferred
Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and understanding federal and state environmental policy, regulations, and permits required
Technical writing and project management skills essential
Proficient in negotiating, conflict resolution and problem solving
Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills required
Must have good computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office and ESRI - ARCGIS products
