DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: POSITION SUMMARY The SGK Project Coordinator is the point-of-contact for the Project Team. They are responsible for planning individual projects and assisting on others with reporting or timelines. They work closely with the project planner to define a realistic and committed plan for the project, also helping to coordinate and support all functions to execute the plan. This role will coordinate material master data for the project team and works closely with manufacturing, distribution, supply planning and procurement to ensure achievement of objectives. The Project Coordinator is a full-time, hourly role working onsite at our facility in East Butler, PA two-three days per week. Click "Apply Now" for immediate consideration.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Leads and oversees projects; works to eliminate blockers and acts as the point of contact and communicates project status. * Coordinates project management activities, resources, equipment and information. * Develop processes and workflow to standardize multiple processes. * Establishes project timeline, monitors project process and handles any issues that arise to ensure that clients' needs are met. * Communicates with clients to answer questions and to define project requirements, scope and objectives. * Assigns tasks to internal teams and assists with schedule management. * Gathers and compile information and runs reports as needed; creates and maintains project documentation, plans and reports. * Helps to prepare budgets and maintain inventory of equipment, materials, and parts needed to complete projects. * Obtains and maintains information, such as schedules and project progress in various databases like SharePoint and intranet site. * Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS * Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Business Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management or related field * 4+ years of previous project coordinator experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience * Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required. * High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications. * Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills. * Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning). * Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts. * Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients. * Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. * Ability to work with and influence peers and management. * Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting. * Ability to work overtime as necessary.
