LIFESTEPS Grant Writer in BUTLER, Pennsylvania
Grant Writer -- Part-time - Butler, PA
Lifesteps, a non-profit agency based in Butler, PA *is seeking a part-time talented *Grant Writer to join the team*. *The position is responsible for researching, planning, writing, submitting, and tracking compelling grant proposals to secure funding in support of the Organization's programs and services.
The position will work 20 - 24 hours per week, with the work being completed onsite during the weekdays - Monday through Friday.
*Position Requirements: *
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Non-Profit Management or a related field.
- Two (2) years of grant writing experience preferred.
- Proven written and research abilities that include clear, precise, and compelling writing.
- Familiar with grant funding sources.
- Detailed oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently meeting deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to work effectively in multi-agency environments.
- Commitment to positively impacting the community and individuals the Organization serves
Current driver's license and the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle.
