Early Learning Connections is currently accepting applications for the position of EHS Center Based Teacher.  This position requires a minimum of an Infant/Toddler CDA (Child Development Associate) an Associate's Degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education is preferred.  Prefer two years' experience in preschool (infant/toddler) classroom.  Pay scale varies depending on individual qualifications or degree. Provides quality primary care giving for infants or toddlers in a safe and supervised early care and education setting; Promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of Early Head Start children enrolled in the program; Develops individual goals for children; Provides screenings and on-going assessment; Follows all Head Start Program Performance Standards, and any local, state and/or agency policies and procedures. 

Acts as a liaison and advocate between community resources and families, connecting families with opportunities that support safety, financial literacy, health and wellness and childcare when necessary.  Act as a resource and referral link for families along with following up on the effectiveness of referrals.  Provide and share community resource lists to other staff and families as needed.  Assist families in obtaining emergency assistance or crisis intervention when needed.
