Emerson Oversea Buyer in Busan, South Korea

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Purchasing

  • Purchase direct material & indirect material on time so that production team can produce the products smoothly

  • Check and issue P.O by SAP system (T-code:ME58)

  • Check the delivery date and inform to the production team and related departments.

  • Make sure of OA receipts from suppliers

  • Record control of P.O purchase order

  • Support Technical service and Customer care team for A/S parts

  • Support Intercompany (China & Denmark) for their needs/requests

  • Manage the material delivery time for processing P.O

  • Update changes in delivery information to suppliers by gathering customer’s delivery sources

  • Provide the forecast file & inspection schedule to suppliers to prepare monthly demand in advance

  • Check Production plan and make forecast to inform suppliers to avoid shipment delay

  • Prepare forecasting data reports for global S&OP meetings

  • Compare with registered lead-time in SAP system and actual lead-time

  • Update parts lead-time and share with internal team members, and drive to obtain the better lead-time to suppliers.

  • Request for new quotation to suppliers

  • Negotiate price and lead-time, and payment term & Incoterms

  • Exploring new/potential suppliers to improve Supply Chain Management through supplier diversification

  • Implement sourcing projects through ES-event and negotiation based on fiscal year planning

  • Facilitate suppliers visit plan to strong negotiation and build supplier’s understanding for our requirements

  • Drive source change (suppliers and/or items)

  • Update source change project trackers and communicate with global co-workers for IM trackers

  • Continue to develop saving points in supply chain perspectives

  • Review the requirements from PE/Sales team and InterCo China & Denmark

  • Lead to look for new suppliers and/or communicate with incumbent suppliers to solve issues

  • Share feedback and new information with internal team members

  • Rescheduling

  • Analyzing material forecast data

  • Reviewing material lead time

  • Negotiating parts prices and contract terms and exploring new/potential suppliers

  • Achieving favourable NMI (net material inflation)

  • Supporting internal team members, especially PE & Sales team and IntraCo to solve critical issues

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, business administration or other relevant backgrounds

  • 3+ years of relevant experience preferably in marine supply chain activity

  • Business-oriented mindset and team player with good communication skills

  • Good skilled in solving analytical problems and dealing with high volume information

  • Strong knowledge of computer software programs, SAP and MS office

  • Ability to organize work schedule effectively and to perform multiple tasks and responsibilities with accurate report

  • English knowledge
