Fairview Health Services Intern/Special Projects in Burnsville, Minnesota
Overview
The Plant Boiler Intern will work directly under the supervision of Power Plant Lead Engineer, Power Plant Operators and Hospital Engineers on a variety of systems to further their knowledge in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities Job Description
Shadow Power Plant Boiler Operators and perform work by direction on the following systems and auxiliary equipment. Including but not limited to:
· Boilers/pumps/motors
· HVAC
· Plumbing
· Pneumatic Tube Systems
· Emergency Generators
· Building Automation Systems
· Fire Alarm System
· Blueprints/AutoCAD drawings
· Medical gas systems
· Patient care equipment
· Nurse call systems
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
· Current enrollment in Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical and or Boiler Operations school training program.
· Mechanical experience desired
· Special or higher Boiler license
Preferred Qualifications
· Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical and or Boiler Operations Technical school training
· Two (2) plus years mechanical experience desired
· 2 B MN State Boilers License
