UMPhysicians Hematology/Oncology- Hospitalist in Burnsville, Minnesota
University of Minnesota Physiciansis seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join our Cancer Care team in Edina and Burnsville, MN. This position will exclusively see hematology and oncology patients in the hospital setting. Position Highlights: Flexibility to be scheduled Monday through Sunday 7days on 7days off, or Monday through Friday 5 days on, with weekend rotations as a part of the Medical Oncology group call rotation. Provides consultative services for hematology and oncology patients between Ridges Hospital in Burnsville and Southdale Hospital in Edina. Work with our comprehensive Cancer Care teams at each site, with coverage from clinic Hematologists/Oncologists for consult during off weeks and hospitalists admitting. You'll find collaborative relationships with our larger group practice of Hematology/Oncology specialists within the academic health system centered at the University of Minnesota. Access to tumor boards and clinicals trials through the University of Minnesota. Leverage a multi-disciplinary approach with a variety of on-site specialists and ancillary support including RNs, Case Managers, and Pharmacists. Graduate of an accredited ACGME Oncology/Hematology fellowship-training program. Board eligible/certified in Hematology and Oncology. Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
