Tri-State Bobcat Diesel Mechanic in Burnsville, Minnesota

We are looking to hire a Diesel Shop Mechanic to service and repair an extensive line of compact construction, forestry and grounds equipment. Get paid $25.00- $34.00 per hour for your experience, strong mechanical and problem-solving skills! Work with a great team at our location in Burnsville, MN. Typical hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm with rotating weekends. Position Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair equipment as needed Perform required preventive maintenance Obtain or order parts needed for repairs Communicate job progress to service manager Inspect and test equipment when work is completed Check work orders for complete and accurate description of work performed, parts, and labor Maintain company safety standards and work area organization Attend company paid training to keep current on new equipment and updates Position requirements: Previous experience as a mechanic in diesel engine repair and service Complete set of tools that you can build on with our Tool Allowance Program Experience with hydraulic/hydrostatic systems and electrical systems and troubleshooting Experience with Bobcat or similar compact construction equipment Strong computer skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good time management skills and commitment to completing jobs as scheduled Ability to frequently lift and carry heavy objects; bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb, stand for long periods, reach in awkward positions, and perform repetitive motions while working under vehicles Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Position benefits: 3 Health insurance plans to pick from, including HSA options Dental & Vision Insurance Life and AD&D Insurance Supplemental Life and AD&D available $1200 Tool Allowance per year- TAX FREE! $200 Boot Allowance per year - TAX FREE!
