Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Burnsville, Minnesota
Description We are offering an Accounts Payable Specialist a short term contract employment opportunity within the construction/contractor industry, based in Burnsville, Minnesota. In this role, you will be expected to handle account coding, work with accounting software systems, and manage financial services.
Responsibilities
• Handle account coding, ensuring accurate and efficient processing
• Utilize various accounting software systems to manage customer accounts
• Manage ADP - Financial Services, ensuring timely and effective service delivery
• Operate Concur to streamline expenses and invoice processes
• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business process management
• Perform various accounting functions to support the financial health of the business
• Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) process, ensuring all payments are made in a timely manner
• Handle accrual accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records
• Conduct auditing tasks to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding, with an ability to accurately categorize expenses and revenues.
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems, demonstrating the ability to manage and process financial data.
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services, showing adeptness in handling payroll and other financial services.
• Familiarity with Concur, displaying competence in managing travel and expense reports.
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, indicating the capacity to integrate and manage business processes.
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions, showcasing the ability to manage financial records and statements.
• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), demonstrating experience in handling and processing invoices.
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting, indicating an ability to record revenues and expenses when they are incurred, not when cash is exchanged.
• Experience in Auditing, showing a capacity to review accounts and financial operations for accuracy.
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH), displaying experience in electronic money transfers.
