As a Senior Project Manager, you will work with members of our team to deliver ongoing and upcoming projects in the water, and wastewater industry. You will play a key role in growing the local office by establishing long term client relationships, securing work, technically leading and supporting our conveyance projects, assisting our business development activities, and mentoring intermediate and junior staff.
As a Senior Project Manager, you may participate as a subject matter expert or draw on the knowledge of our technical subject matter experts to lead or support the design of municipal conveyance infrastructure (watermains, sewers, culverts, pump stations, valve chambers etc.) according to established standards and software. You will participate in or lead the development of engineering studies, reports, drawings, specifications, contract documents, proposals, and cost estimates with minimal direction; serve as the Engineer of Record for area of expertise deliverables and, provide construction administration services and field engineering services during construction as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline such as Environmental, Mechanical, Biosystems, or Chemical) and/or equivalent experience
Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) as a professional engineer in the Province of British Columbia
15+ years of directly applicable experience working with municipal clients in engineering or project management roles
Strong aptitude for technical design, writing and verbal communication related to municipal water and wastewater infrastructure (watermains, sewers, condition assessment and rehabilitation, pump stations, valve chambers, pressure reducing stations etc.)
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Design and project management experience serving as the Engineer of Record for water and wastewater infrastructure including pipelines (rural and urban), pump stations, PRV Stations, and Valve Chamber
Experience managing and coordinating multiple disciplines on small to large projects, including the ability to successfully manage scope, schedule, and budget
Experience in trenchless design with methods such as HDD, TBM and MTBM would be beneficial.
Experience in condition assessment, rehabilitation would be beneficial.
Experience in report writing.
Experience proposal preparation and lead
Experience with Metro Vancouver projects and relationship would be beneficial.
Experience in Alternate delivery methods would be beneficial.
